1995 Classic card.
After watching linemate Crian Wesenberg go to Anaheim with the 29th pick, Dwayne Hay hoped he would be the next Guelph standout to be selected in the 1995 draft. Washington made Dwayne's dream come true whern it chose the crafty left wing with its second-round pick. Hay netted nine more goals than Wesenberg last season, and he is considered to be more physically developed than his counterpart. Dwayne's disciplined style of play is reflected in his lack of time in the penalty box - only 37 minutes in 65 games.
